CIKR Catalog Buildout Support ►
Based on the DHS Target Capabilities 2.0, the Digital Sandbox Capabilities Assessment tool enables clients to produce an in-depth report on their capabilities. Using a detailed assessment form, users can drill down to the activity level and rate each individual activity for each capability. After completing the assessment, users receive a report summarizing the results for planning and decision-making.

Digital Sandbox can help clients take the first steps in building a critical asset catalog, and identifying their Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources. Using our proven data collection process, we work with clients to identify their key assets, perform data diagnostics and analysis, and create multiple views of their assets (by sector, sub-sector, and priority). The results are a comprehensive database of asset information and a report summarizing key findings about a client’s assets.
Risk Management Program Concept of Operations ►
Our Natural Hazard Analysis provides detailed, localized data on the natural hazards impacting a given region. We work closely with our customers to identify their hazards, determine frequencies, and define impact zones. The analysis is done working closely with local subject matter experts in conjunction with national statistics, in order to provide precise information for that region. The results are presented in multiple forms, to enable our customers to compare to other risk data.
Digital Sandbox can develop a comprehensive concept of operations for a jurisdictional risk management program. We have designed a proven, step-by-step approach to identifying goals and objectives, establishing organization and user roles, describing each stage of the risk management process, and providing a timeline for implementation. Our team works closely with local subject matter experts and stakeholders to design a customized risk management program for each unique jurisdiction.
Data Call Support ►
Digital Sandbox can create a demographic and socioeconomic overview of a jurisdiction's population profile. In addition, we can develop an in-depth assessment of vulnerable and/or special needs populations is conducted using local knowledge from direct stakeholder input. This enables decision makers to identify populations that may be more susceptible to the impacts of an event before it occurs, and position key resources to minimize those effects.
Our experienced CIKR analysts can assist jurisdictions with their responses to DHS and State data calls. Working with their existing asset lists, we can help determine if assets meet the required criteria, if their lists covered all sectors, and if their justifications follow DHS guidance documents, leveraging our years of experience of working with data calls at both the State and Federal levels.
We create a risk “baseline” for your jurisdiction, by working with you to create an initial critical asset catalog, identify regional threats and hazards, and assessing vulnerability and consequences. We analyze the data collected and product a report documenting your region’s risk by asset, sector, sub-sector, according to threat and hazard likelihoods. The Regional Risk Analysis provides a one-time snapshot of jurisdictional risk, but the underlying data collected can provide a basis for further risk analysis and other risk management activities.
