A Message from the CTO Last October, we shared a preview of Site Profiler 4.0, the next version of our Enterprise Risk Management Server. I’m proud to share that we’re nearing our release and I’d like to take this opportunity to discuss the significance of this product and why I believe it will change the way you think about and manage risk. The State and Local Enterprise Risk Management Market has matured significantly in recent years and with Site Profiler 4.0, we’ve responded to these changes and once again pushed the market forward with new features targeted to our clients’ needs. Features such as Site Profiler’s top-down Risk Management Approach, Multi-level Assessment approach, and Web-based Professional and Owner/Operator Assessments and Surveys, enable organizations to develop an unprecedented depth and breadth of understanding in their asset catalog to facilitate risk based decision making. Additionally, we’ve loaded Site Profiler 4.0 with authoritative content that will enable your organization to remain up-to-date with the risk management best-practices and policies from your state and local partners, and from the Department of Homeland Security. Out of the box, Site Profiler includes the full DHS sector taxonomy for asset characterization and fields for tracking information from the most recent DHS asset data calls. Site Profiler includes a comprehensive all-hazards threat library based on the BZPP threat streams, NIPP guidance, and the HITRAC Sector Specific Analyses and Attack Specific Threat Scenarios. Finally, Site Profiler 4.0 includes a regularly updated document library which includes the most recent DHS publications such as the National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP), the National Strategy for Homeland Security, for example. Site Profiler 4.0 implements a ‘best practices’ based approach to risk management drawn from our years of experience in dealing with risk management from the perspectives of the DoD, Federal, State, and Local Governments, and First Responders. Site Profiler enables a true top-down approach to risk management that enables users to view their risk from a geographic, jurisdictional, sector based perspective and to drill into those views to understand where your risk lies, and what drives your risk. Site Profiler enables a multi-level assessment approach that enables you to intelligently spread your limited assessment resources across your whole asset catalog to build both breadth and depth in your catalog as needed. Site Profiler 4.0 is the culmination of 8 years of research, development and applied engineering in the field of enterprise risk management and over $1 million dollars in direct investment of new capability. Based on an entirely new .NET based, web-services enabled platform, Site Profiler 4.0 has been designed to support data sets of 100,000+ assets enabling an unprecedented scope for your risk management needs. In sum, Site Profiler 4.0 offers a huge step forward in your ability view, understand, manage and to use risk to inform critical decisions in your organization. I am pleased to have been a part of its development and I look forward to sharing its benefits with all of you.
