Digital Sandbox’s module-based product offering allows our clients to construct a risk management capability customized to their unique needs and budgets. The Digital Sandbox Core Platform provides a scalable base upon which users can create an initial risk management or intelligence processing application, and continue to expand its capability as time and budgets allow. ►
All Digital Sandbox solutions leverage the single, flexible, scalable and patented Digital Sandbox core analytic platform to simplify implementation, drive operational efficiencies and lower total cost of ownership.
• Provides patented prioritization and scoring algorithms that combine available data with expert assessments to drive predictive threat and risk management systems.
• Provides intuitive reusable interface components to ensure consistency across applications while supporting custom capabilities.
• Provides end-to-end tools and services including integrated mobile applications to enable faster time to develop and deploy full- featured solutions.
• Hosted in the cloud to deliver high performance applications with no expensive hardware to buy.
• 100% thin-client web architecture to simplify installation, deployment and maintenance.
Digital Sandbox’s Base Application Modules provide key risk management functions and can be added individually or combined to create integrated capabilities. Individually, the modules enable users to catalog critical assets, create surveys and assessments, manage threat and hazard likelihoods, assess capabilities, measure preparedness, analyze risk, and perform program management functions. Modules can be purchased independently or in bundled configurations, providing customers with extremely flexible usage scenarios. All modules require the Core Digital Sandbox Platform.

Risk Analysis Center ►
The Risk Analysis Center provides default threat/hazard likelihood, vulnerability, and consequence data and combines it with the asset catalog to create a risk assessment of an asset, jurisdiction, sector, and sub-sector. Users can create multiple reports, graphs, and views of assets, threats, and hazards.
*Requires the Asset Manager.
Program Management Dashboard ►
The Program Management Dashboard provides users with a tool to manage their asset collection, providing immediate visibility to the progress of their asset collection program and providing access to Digital Sandbox analysts.
*Requires the Asset Manager.
Capabilities Assessment ►
The Capabilities Assessment module enables users to perform detailed capabilities assessments for their regions or jurisdictions. Based on DHS’s Target Capabilities List 2.0, the module provides an intuitive interface that guides users in their assessment of each capability.
Asset Manager ►
The Asset Manager provides users with the ability to identify and document their critical assets. The asset database collects data on assets (address, lat/long, images, POCs, sector/sub-sector, and more), displays it on a map, and exports to it C/ACAMS. Additionally, the module enables users to create asset groups and set priorities, and run reports.
Preparedness Analysis Center ►
The Preparedness Analysis Center gives the users the ability to perform a capabilities gap, or preparedness, analysis based on their capabilities assessment and jurisdictional risk. The intuitive dashboard presents the gap ratings and displays mitigation options tied to the AEL/SEL.
*Requires the Risk Analysis Center and the Capabilities Assessment Module.
Survey and Assessment ►
As a standalone module, the Survey and Assessment module enables users to create and distribute surveys on line and provides the capability for users to create their own forms for doing security assessments.
Threat and Hazard Manager ►
The Threat and Hazard Manager enables users to view and adjust threat and hazard likelihoods and combine with asset information for a picture of the threats and hazards for their jurisdictions.
Threat and Risk Monitor ►
The Threat and Risk Monitor enables users to apply customized analytics, key words, and filtering mechanisms to incoming data streams to enable automated prioritization of threats, news items, and events. Includes interactive interface to change ratings, view data sources, and differentiate items visually.
Hazardous Material Assessor ►
The Hazardous Material Assessor provides users with a data collection form specifically designed for identifying and describing hazardous material locations, types, quantities, and related information necessary for administering and controlling hazard material collections.
*Requires the Asset Manager and the Survey and Assessment Module.
Threat Incident Manager ►
The Threat Incident Manager enables users to select an item from an incoming prioritized news/threat feed, analyze it in real time and escalate it to an “incident”. The system stores the incident as an element that can be geolocated, defined, prioritized, and added to a timeline or a map view.
Blast Effects Analyzer ►
The Blast Effects Analyzer enables users to evaluate attack scenarios and model consequence results for threats involving explosive devices. This module integrates with users’ assets and provides estimates on blast damage to the target and surrounding assets.
*Requires the Asset Manager.
PCII Compatibility ►
The PCII Capability Module provides users with a DHS-approved method for marking, handling, and storing Protected Critical Infrastructure Information (PCII).
*Requires the Asset Manager.
Tactical Response Planner ►
The Tactical Response Planner enables law enforcement personnel with a data collection form specifically designed to capture data necessary to managing and assessing a critical incident.
*Requires the Survey and Assessment Module.
Pre-Incident Fire Planner ►
The Pre-Incident Fire Department Planner provides users with a data collection form specifically designed for describing key data required by Fire and Rescue Services on building structure, design, evacuation plans, and more.
*Requires the Asset Manager and the Survey and Assessment Module.
Event Manager ►
The Event Manager enables users to create an event, describe it, view it geospatially, plot it on a timeline, and link to other elements.
BZPP Assessor ►
The BZPP Assessor provides users with a data collection form specifically designed for BZPP assessments, enabling users to perform an authorized BZPP assessment.
*Requires the Asset Manager and the Survey and Assessment Module.
Advanced Threat & Hazard Analytics ►
The Advanced Threat and Hazard Analytics Modules provides power users with the means to adjust baseline threat likelihood values and the underlying risk calculation parameters in the Analytic Server.
Mobile Assessor ►
The Mobile Assessor mirrors the assessment forms and processes in a mobile device, enabling field operators to conduct detailed assessments of their CIKR on site and instantly transmit the data to the Analytic Server.
*Requires the Survey and Assessment Module.
Mobile Command ►
The Mobile Command provides users with access to their critical asset data in the Digital Sandbox system. Photos, risk data, POC, location, and other details are immediately available on their mobile devices, and users can interact directly with the Analytic Server if desire.
*Requires the Asset Manager.
Mobile Indicator ►
The Mobile Indicator allows users to report suspicious activities and incidents as they observe them and to transmit descriptions, photos, location, and time of those incidents to the Analytic Server for further processing, in real time. The Mobile Indicator is part of the Core Platform.
Mobile Threat Monitor ►
The Mobile Threat Monitor enables users to view prioritized lists of threats and events generated by the Core Platform on their mobile devices.
