Information Week highlights Digital Sandbox 7 as one of 9 key technologies used for Super Bowl security

McLean, VA — Digital Sandbox was recently showcased for its role in securing Super Bowl XLV in Information Week's feature, "9 Security Technologies For Super Bowl And Beyond." You can read an excerpt from it here:
Indianapolis just opened a new $18 million regional operations center (ROC), which is designed to keep the city safe both during the Super Bowl and for years afterward. "To date, this will be the most technologically secure Super Bowl in the history of the Super Bowl," Marion County public safety director Frank Straub told WISH-TV, a local news station.
A key component of the ROC is Digital Sandbox's Special Events Risk Management platform, which tracks officers' locations at the game. It also allows police to quickly send pictures of potential problems via smartphone or tablets. Control center personnel will monitor 85 surveillance cameras in real time at the big game.
