As President of Digital Sandbox, Anthony is responsible for setting the company's strategy for existing and emerging analytic threat and risk management markets. He has been a driving force behind the establishment of Digital Sandbox's unique product strategy - creating integrated product, solution, and managed services strategies for each market the company serves. Anthony is a well-known authority on threat and risk management, having pioneered analytic software-based solutions for Federal, state, and local agencies. He has an 20-year track record of leading organizations through the transformation from patchwork tools and inconsistent consultation into results-driven, technology-enabled analytic solutions. Anthony has orchestrated the application of risk analytics in high-intensity operational environments for the military, Special Forces, law enforcement, and first responder organizations. As a recognized industry expert, he is a regular speaker and advisor to government and corporate organizations on risk management, threat and risk monitoring, and risk-based funding allocation strategies. Prior to founding Digital Sandbox, Anthony established and led multi-million dollar software and technology business units at Sonalysts, Inc. and Kaman Sciences Corporation. He holds a Master of Science degree in Material Science from the University of Virginia and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Chief Financial Officer
Andrew is responsible for all activities related to the company's finances, as well as management of administrative, legal, tax and accounting concerns. He has more than 20 years of indispensible financial and operational experience in start-ups and new initiatives, including serving in similar positions in two other technology companies. He has raised several million dollars in venture funding and has extensive experience in intellectual property issues. Andrew earned his MBA from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Williams College.
Chief Technology Officer
Robert drives the Digital Sandbox technology roadmap and coordinates the efforts of the R&D, product and field engineering teams in the firm to drive new technology, features and capabilities into the company's products. Robert works with Digital Sandbox's partners and clients to develop innovative solutions to their most demanding technical challenges. Robert's experience includes more than 18 years leading analysis, design, and implementation of large-scale software engineering efforts in risk analysis, physics-based simulation, and high-fidelity flight simulation domains. He is a published author of papers on software engineering and simulation technology. Robert holds a Master of Engineering Management from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Vice President of Client Operations
Jay is Vice President of Client Operations for Digital Sandbox, where he manages the Client Services Management and Technical Client Services organizations. He is responsible for all aspects of client implementations and on-going maintenance support to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. He has more than 20 years of experience in implementing and supporting mission critical information technology solutions in the federal, state and local, and commercial marketplace. He has authored several articles associated with maximizing operational efficiencies through the use of technology. Jay holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
Vice President of Product R&D
Michael leads the development of main platform and research products at Digital Sandbox. Michael has recently led efforts in R&D to establish a mobile application suite as well as development of research programs for DHS S&T and IARPA. He has always had an interest in advanced computing, 3D computer graphics rendering, and general tinkering with new technologies. Michael holds degrees in both Computer Science and Physics from Carnegie Mellon University.
Executive Vice President
Bryan S. Ware serves as the chief technology strategist of Digital Sandbox. He leads the company's research and development activities, particularly in real-time analytics, social media intelligence, and mobile apps for risk sensing. Mr. Ware is a pioneer in the development and application of analytic methods and tools for enterprise risk management, high consequence/low probability events, critical infrastructure protection, and risk-based resource allocation. He has worked with the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, the intelligence community, leading states and urban areas and international corporations over the last 20 years on critical security and risk matters. Mr. Ware speaks frequently at conferences on topics including cyber security, enterprise risk management and social intelligence. Mr. Ware serves on the Board of Advisors of a social networking company and a "big data" trading index firm. Mr. Ware holds three patents for risk management and received a BS in Applied Optics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He is an alumni of the prestigious MindShare executive program.
