Tampa Bay Region selects Digital Sandbox to build out Regional terrorism risk management capabilities

Digital Sandbox, Inc., a leading provider of risk management strategies and solutions to homeland security and public safety organizations, today announced that the Tampa Bay Region has engaged the firm to build out its regional terrorism risk management capability. Under this initiative, sponsored by the Tampa Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) working group, Digital Sandbox will develop key risk management business processes, roll out the Site Profiler software suite region-wide, and train users in the City of Tampa, City of St. Petersburg, City of Clearwater, Pinellas County, and Hillsborough County. Users in these jurisdictions will identify risks to the region and prioritize homeland security risk expenditures as a region, replacing their separate processes. This initiative builds on pilot initiatives jointly executed between the Department of Homeland Security’s Office for Domestic Preparedness and the City of Tampa over the last several years.
