Digital Sandbox Wins SPAWAR Contract

Digital Sandbox Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $5,707,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract for systems architecture, model refinement, data gathering, analysis and processing validation and verification.
Work will be performed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 2009. Contractfunds in the amount of $1,400,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This contract was not competitively awarded. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-08-D-6019).
