Digital Sandbox Hammers Out Community Service Project

A team of Digital Sandbox employees recently volunteered for Rebuilding Together, a national nonprofit that rehabilitates homes for low-income, elderly, and disabled homeowners. The team spent all of Saturday, November 7 rebuilding a wheelchair ramp, repairing the front porch, and doing general clean-up and household de-cluttering for a couple with limited mobility living in DC’s Anacostia neighborhood.
The 14 Digital Sandbox employees who volunteered earned praise from the Director of Rebuilding Together for their collective energy and commitment, but everyone agrees that the most rewarding aspect of the day was simply helping the homeowners themselves.
