Digital Sandbox Chief Scientist to Speak at Los Alamos Risk Symposium
Apr 06 2009
Digital Sandbox, Inc., provider of the Risk Analysis Center (RAC) suite of risk management software and analysis services, is proud to have Dr. David Daniels present his paper, “Understanding FEMA’s Grant Risk Formula: An Analyst’s Perspective,” at the 2009 Risk Symposium at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The Risk Symposium invites top theoreticians, modelers, analysts, domain experts, and decision makers from academia, industry, government, and the national laboratories to share insights regarding our nation’s highest-priority security threats. Applying risk analysis to national security has become invaluable. It maximizes scarce risk-mitigation resources, allows for informed analysis of alternative scenarios, and enables unifying strategies to prevent catastrophic consequences.
Digital Sandbox is honored to have been invited to participate in the 2009 Risk Symposium, a focal point for intelligent discussion of today’s security concerns.
