Jun 16 2009
Digital Sandbox Chief Scientist Dr. David Daniels will present his paper, Value of Human Life in Homeland Security Risk Analysis, at the third annual Conference on Security Analysis and Risk Management, taking place this week in Arlington, VA.
Hosted by the Security Analysis and Risk Management Association, this year’s conference examines “evolving national and international strategies for security risk management” and the future of the risk management profession.
Dr. Daniel’s paper deals with how the risk practitioner community calculates the Value of Human Life (VHL), and sets forth a series of questions to help determine the applicability and limitations of VHL construction. His presentation will begin at 4:15 on Wednesday, June 17 in room 244 of the George Mason University School of Law’s Center for Infrastructure Protection, 3401 Fairfax Dr., Arlington VA.
