Digital Sandbox to Showcase New Risk Management Solutions at the 2011 National UASI & Homeland Security Conference

Jun 14 2011

McLean, VA, June 14, 2011—Digital Sandbox, the premier provider of risk management software and services, announced its participation at the annual National UASI & Homeland Security Conference, June 20-22, in San Francisco, continuing its unbroken support and sponsorship of this important gathering of homeland security and emergency management professionals.  Digital Sandbox will be demonstrating its newest software products, as well as previewing features of the next release of the Digital Sandbox Risk Analysis Center 7, at its booth in the Yosemite Room, #Y-3.  Digital Sandbox will also be introducing some of its newest product partners and integrated solutions.

In addition to exhibiting at the Conference, Digital Sandbox ‘s President and co-founder, Anthony Beverina, will participate in the panel on Protecting Private Sector Information: Challenges and Solutions,  part of the Conference’s Public/Private Partnership for Critical Infrastructure track.

Digital Sandbox’s flagship Risk Analysis Center software platform will also be showcased during the Benchmarking Panel Discussion held on Tuesday, June 21 at 4:00 p.m.  Four Digital Sandbox customers will discuss how the Risk Analysis Center helped them solve a particular risk management problem, including: Performing Specialized Assessments using the Risk Analysis Center’s new Pre-Fire Plan Module (Tampa Fire and Rescue, Tampa UASI); Measuring Capability (N.C. Division of Emergency Management, State of North Carolina); Managing Special Events: Super Bowl XLV (Arlington Police Department, Dallas/Fort Worth/Arlington UASI); and Regional and Inter-Agency Collaboration (Bay Area UASI).

“This Conference has always been a significant gathering of those engaged in homeland security and emergency preparedness and we’ve participated in every one since its inception,” noted Bryan Ware, CEO and co-founder of Digital Sandbox.  “This year, however, because of the severe cuts in homeland security grants and budgets, the interest in best practices and proven efficiencies in risk management and emergency preparedness is extremely high – people are looking for ways to do more with less – and we have much to offer in the way of affordable, but comprehensive, risk management solutions.  The Digital Sandbox solutions presented in the Benchmarking Panel Discussion are all examples of how we are evolving our Risk Analysis Center platform to provide more capabilities with less investment.”
