Digital Sandbox, Inc., a leading provider of risk management strategies and solutions to homeland security and public safety organizations, today announced that it was awarded a contract with the Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) Justice and Safety Center to provide support to the Partnership for Safe and Secure Communities (PASCOM) Program (http://www.justice.eku.edu). Under this initiative, Digital Sandbox will work with EKU and its partners to define operating concepts and system designs for a multi-tiered approach to terrorism risk management. This modular, multi-tiered approach will connect public sector entities from the most rural communities to the largest cities using risk management building blocks that will be assembled to provide risk management systems for regions or states to support their data collection, analysis, and reporting needs. The initial concept demonstration, connecting an EKU-developed Community Risk & Vulnerability Assessment Tool to the Site Profiler enterprise suite is scheduled for January 2006.
