Digital Sandbox Releases Site Profiler 4.6 - Improved Interface, New Features for Company’s Flagship Risk Analysis Center Software
Sep 08 2009
Digital Sandbox, Inc., provider of the Risk Analysis Center (RAC), a suite of software and services for analytic risk management, has released Site Profiler 4.6, a comprehensive upgrade to the RAC’s backbone software.
“This release of Site Profiler software adds important capabilities for creating, organizing, analyzing, and viewing critical infrastructure and population risk information,” explained Digital Sandbox co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Bryan S. Ware. “Our mission is to keep our customers on the leading edge of risk management capability, and we are excited to introduce this latest update of usability and industry best practice features.”
Among the important new features are:
- Support for New DHS Sector Taxonomy: Site Profiler now includes the new DHS 18th sector, “Manufacturing,” in addition to amended Sector names, as well as numerous Sub-Sector changes. The Site Profiler Asset module includes an updated DHS taxonomy document to guide customers’ migration to the new list of sectors and sub-sectors.
- Support for the Border Zone Protection Plan (BZPP) 2009 format: Users may now conduct automated BZPP assessments in the RAC using the 2009 format. Older BZPP assessments can still be accessed and reviewed, but new BZPP assessments may only be initiated in the 2009 format.
- New Risk Details Page: Site Profiler now includes a Risk Details page, allowing the user to review more specific risk information about an asset. The Risk Details page includes a summary of the “rolled up” risk across all threats for each asset, plus a graph of the asset’s risk from each threat.
“RAC customers will also appreciate how we’ve integrated the RAC Executive Dashboard module with Site Profiler,” said Digital Sandbox President and co-founder Anthony Beverina. “Users can access the web-based Executive Dashboard to quickly pull up snapshot data from five key Site Profiler modules for risk management and mitigation: Assets, Threats, Assessments, Risk, Overall Risk (by Sector), and Plan Activity (within the last 90 days). The interface for each area also has a direct link to the summary page, pre-filtered for the respective module within Site Profiler.”
Other new features include enhanced analytic graphing capabilities, an improved field assessment report format, and the ability to edit asset priorities directly from the asset list.
