Fall Internship Program

We have designed an intensive 10-week program that offers a full-time experience, where the intern is assimilated into one of our core teams to learn from, and work under the guidance of, an experienced manager. Each Digital Sandbox Intern will be assigned a mentor and receive the opportunity to work directly on projects related to homeland and national security. You will have the chance to gain invaluable professional experience through project-based work in the field of risk management. Projects are designed to allow Interns to gain “first-hand” experience as a key contributor.

Risk Data Analyst I

The Risk Data Analyst performs data analysis in support of Digital Sandbox’s all-hazards risk management data products. Primary focus will be management and analysis of various types of natural hazard risk data (hurricanes, earthquakes, wildfires, etc.) and population demographics. The Risk Data Analyst will be expected to design, build, document, and maintain processes and tools to support data collection, processing, manipulation, analysis, and production of secondary (derived) data products.
