Time & Compensation
Your compensation is one way you’re rewarded for delivering quality products and services to our clients. Digital Sandbox’s goal is to make sure employees are paid competitively. That’s why we regularly review the market value for jobs at Digital Sandbox and make adjustments as needed.

Pay Days
All employees are paid semi-monthly on the 15th and last day of the month.
Direct Deposit
You have the option of receiving your pay in a payroll check or having your pay deposited into your bank account through our direct deposit program. Your paycheck will be automatically deposited into your checking or savings account each pay day.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Our leave program is designed to provide you with the flexibility needed to balance your professional life and personal responsibilities. Time off for various reasons (vacation and occasional sick time) is combined into one flexible program to allow you more control over when and why you take time off from work. In addition to your flexible PTO, Digital Sandbox offers employees three (3) additional days of sick leave each year. Based on your years of service, the number of accrued PTO days ranges from 15 to 25 per year.
Holidays
In addition to accrued leave, all active full-time employees receive eight paid holidays each year: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.
Flexible Work Arrangements
Digital Sandbox makes an effort to assist you in maintaining a healthy work/life balance by offering flexible work arrangements whenever possible. Employees may have the option to work on a flextime schedule or telecommute, as necessary.
Employee Referral Program
Employees may be eligible to receive up to $1,000 referral bonus for delivering a successful candidate for any of our current vacancies.

Medical and Prescription Drug
Digital Sandbox offers medical and prescription drug coverage that can help you stay well - through preventive care benefits, such as annual physicals - and get treatment when you’re ill or injured. Our medical plan allows you to select a network that best meets your needs and the needs of your family.
Dental & Vision
Our dental plan offers coverage for preventive dental care as well as major dental work. Orthodontia coverage for dependents is included.
For those individuals who elect vision coverage, Digital Sandbox helps you keep costs down for eye exams and prescription eyewear.
Disability
If you become disabled while employed by Digital Sandbox, the company offers short- and long-term disability coverage to help replace a portion of your income. This benefit is covered in full by Digital Sandbox.
Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Our FSA lets you set aside up to $5,000 each year in pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible health care expenses not covered under the medical, dental, or vision plans. You decide how much to set aside based on your estimated health-related expenses. Participating in the FSA helps you save tax dollars while paying for eligible expenses such as copayments, deductibles, some over-the-counter medications and more.
Employee Assistance Program
Our EAP gives you and your household members access to free and confidential resources to help you deal with a wide range of issues such as: relationship problems, financial difficulties, legal issues, drug & alcohol dependencies, and more.
Subsidized Gym Membership
Digital Sandbox is conveniently located next door to the Tysons Corner Sport & Health Club. As a Digital Sandbox employee, you may join the Sport & Health Club at a discounted corporate membership rate. In addition to the discounted rate, as part of our WellnessWorks program, Digital Sandbox will pay for a portion of the monthly membership fees.

401(k) Retirement Plan
All eligible employees are automatically enrolled in our 401(k) program. If you are eligible, you may make pre-tax contributions ranging from 1% to 100% of your gross earnings, not to exceed the annual maximum. A fixed matching contribution will be made for every dollar you invest up to a certain percentage of pay you contribute.
529 College Savings Plan
As an employee of Digital Sandbox, you’ll have the opportunity to enroll in our employer-sponsored 529 College Savings Plan through American Funds. This plan allows you to make systematic investments to cover the increasing costs of education and enjoy completely tax-free growth.
Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
Digital Sandbox provides all employees with 100% employer-paid Basic Life Insurance (bundled with AD&D insurance coverage). Employees are eligible starting their first day of work.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Pre-Tax Transit Program

Pre-Tax deductions will be made each pay period from your paycheck and transferred to your card.

Learning Opportunities at Digital Sandbox
In addition to an employee’s introductory risk training, our employees receive training four times each year by experts in a particular field. Internal training is often conducted on our non-observed holidays.
Educational Assistance Program
The Educational Assistance Program is designed to assist employees in their professional development by encouraging voluntary academic studies that contribute to improved performance and understanding on the job. Digital Sandbox provides financial assistance on a reimbursement basis to employees for courses, certification programs, and exams requested by management or voluntarily taken by employees interested in furthering their formal education.
