Software Developers

The Software Developer research position will be responsible for design and development of algorithms related to our risk management platform, along with implementation of these ideas in software prototypes.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Perform complex analysis and design tasks necessary to support development activities
- Create methodologies for risk metric evaluation based on sound scientific principles
- Follow a disciplined approach for development, maintenance, and documentation of software products
- Write white papers describing new inventions
- Continuously foster innovation in our products and development approach
- Work in a team of skilled interdisciplinary professionals in a fast-paced start-up environment
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with major coursework in Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent relevant experience
- At least two to six years of software product development experience with C++ and C# in Windows environments
Skills:
- Practical experience and demonstrable proficiency with ASP.NET and C#
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to hold and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications (preferred, but not required):
- Ability to work independently with guidance from Research and Development lead
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with peers and management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Experience with modeling tools such as Excel, SAS, and Matlab
- Strong mathematics background
