Core RAC Services
Catalog and Data Management Modules
Depending on individual customer requirements, each RAC subscription includes rights to use a core set of web-based Asset, Threat, Risk, and Capabilities software modules to create and manage catalog repositories for each element of risk analysis. The RAC also includes a data management capability for Digital Sandbox proprietary data, and can optionally extend that data set to integrate Information Products to support several different detailed threat and risk engines.
Assessment Modules
The Assessment and Survey modules provide automated templates and workflow for local jurisdictional teams to gather complete and accurate data on Assets, Threats, Natural Hazards, and Capabilities, and quickly and easily generate documents such as BZPPs (Buffer Zone Protection Plans).
Output, Reporting, and Integration Modules
RAC modules include relevant pre-defined reports and custom report creation tools; the RAC also includes optional integration modules for GIS systems, the Federal C/ACAMS system, and other public safety and emergency response systems. The RAC also provides analytic dashboards and interactive decision tools for risk, allocation, and preparedness, both in numeric/graphical formats and with integrated GIS geospatial analysis capabilities.
Information Products
Digital Sandbox produces proprietary, optional packaged data and metrics to drive segment risk analysis. These include Population, Economic, and Natural Hazards Indices.
Analysis Engines
These underlying software models encapsulate Digital Sandbox’ patented and other algorithms and analytic processes for risk and preparedness management. Each RAC subscription provides the right to use one core Analysis Engine; customers can optionally add additional engine licenses. They include:
- Strategic Risk and Allocation Engine, used to measure needs and risks and determine resource allocations;
- Scenario Risk Engine, used for jurisdictional risk analysis;
- Geographic Metric Engine, used in conjunction with Information products to create detailed geographic models and representations of risk by location; and
- Capability Analysis Engine, used by organizations at all levels of government to assemble a granular picture of national preparedness.
Individual Program Analysis Applications are specialized program risk and allocation models created for specific government programs. We develop these are optional RAC add-ons to address specialized agency and program missions.
Professional Services
We deliver product-specific, fixed-price, and project-based services to support our customers’ risk, allocation, and preparedness activities. Each RAC subscription provides a dedicated team of Client Services Manager, Risk Analyst, and Project Engineer. They deliver system start-up, data management, assessment facilitation, and training services to get each RAC system up and running quickly; prepare bi-monthly Comprehensive Risk Reports with a progress and status highlights for all risk areas; and deliver on-demand analysis and assistance with customer-driven program tasks such as DHS data call automation, automated CIKR catalog integration, custom integration with existing systems, specialized planning and event risk reports, resource allocation modeling, survey and assessment assistance, and private sector coordination.
