The RAC Mobile Monitor makes key asset data and relevant threat information available at the touch of a finger. Built-in geo-positioning functionality enables users to gauge proximity of high-risk assets to possible threat events.

Instant Access to Key Asset Data
RAC users can open an enhanced view of their asset data from any location. One-touch functionality enables users to quickly access a specialized subset of their asset information, before drilling directly into the RAC’s data pages.

Prioritized Threat News Displayed Geospatially
Real-time, prioritized threat information is displayed geospatially, generated by Digital Sandbox’s RSS feed aggregating and prioritizing feature. The RAC Mobile Monitor plots locations of plausible threat situations; users can touch the threat indicator for details on the threat event itself.

Immediate View of Asset Location
The RAC Mobile Monitor’s home view is a map displaying the location of all the region’s assets. By leveraging GPS functionality, the Mobile Monitor allows users to determine their distance from an asset, and its proximity to other high-priority assets.

Benefits

  1. A critical subset of asset information is displayed immediately upon touching the asset pin on the map (or through the Search function). In addition, users can link directly to the rest of the RAC’s asset information via a link on the Asset Data Page.
  2. The RAC Mobile Monitor displays the location of relevant threat events that are generated by Digital Sandbox’s Threat News Monitor. Threat events that warrant concern appear geolocated on the home page and details on the event are displayed through a single touch.
  3. Users can view assets within specific distances from the user’s location. Assets are automatically displayed by geographic location upon opening the application.
