Digital Sandbox Company Profile

Digital Sandbox has provided risk analysis and management software and services to the public safety community since 1998. We create risk analytics and risk-based solutions for Federal, State, Local, and private organizations, providing them with the tools they need to mitigate the catastrophic and disruptive threats that can impact them. We have developed strategies and built analytical frameworks essential to effective management, analysis, and assessment of terrorism, natural hazard, and technological accident risk.
Digital Sandbox developed its Risk Analysis Center (RAC) software application to provide a foundation for homeland security risk management solutions, through its integration, analysis, and visualization of risk data. The RAC is a cloud-based suite of applications and tools that help our customs collect and analyze asset, threat, and hazard data, quantify risk, prioritize risk data, identify capability gaps, and aggregate and prioritize threat information. With the RAC, our customers can assess capabilities and analyze their gaps; use mobile devices to access asset data, threat information, and perform security assessments; and receive real-time threat information and integrate it with CIKR.
The customers of our risk management products and services include the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; the States of North Carolina, New Jersey, Maryland, Maine, and the District of Columbia; and the Bay Area (Northern California), Houston, Dallas/Ft. Worth/Arlington, Twin Cities, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Charlotte Urban Area Initiatives, among others. Our past and current Federal clients include multiple directorates and agencies within the Department of Homeland Security, the Departments of Justice and Defense, and members of the Intelligence Community. In addition, Digital Sandbox was selected as one of two content developers of FEMA’s National Risk Management Training Program (accessed through http://www.LearnAboutRisk.com).
Digital Sandbox is headquartered in McLean, Virginia and maintains its enterprise system hosting environment in Dulles, Virginia, at Carpathia’s Vault data center, the most secure federally-compliant data center in the industry.
