Site Profiler^® Technology Roadmap :: Palm^TM Software

Digital Sandbox has aggressively embraced the Palm^TM computing platform as a key component of our long-term business strategy. We believe that mobile computing will quickly become more than just personal information management (PIM), but will evolve into the primary means with which most of us interact with computers and networks. As handheld computers become more powerful, get better displays, and their wireless capabilities increase, a whole host of new possibilities arise. Digital Sandbox is developing the technology and applications for these emerging devices today!

At Digital Sandbox we're not just prolific users of handheld computers (we have more hand-held computers than employees), we also develop enabling technologies, advanced applications, and consumer applications. We are registered developers for the Palm operating system and have been writing Palm software since 1999.

We are currently building Palm applications to support our Site Profiler^® suite of tools. Site Profiler Mobile will provide hand-held access to powerful analytic models, Site Profiler's Risk Influence Network^TM, and site modeling and data collection utilities.

Site Profiler Mobile utilizes our MiniGL library, which allows developers to build 3D interfaces and applications for the Palm. MiniGL is designed to be compatible with the OpenGL^® graphics library. MiniGL allows cross-platform development of advanced modeling, graphics, and games for the Palm.
